Safe and sound. He’s lost a bunch of weight though, and the only vegetarian food we can find here is $100 for 12 cans! so we have to start making food for him ourselves and portioning it out.
Made our first successful long trip in the leaf with no problems. We are able to charge at the motel in town until our charger arrives, and there are free chargers in Tauranga and Auckland.
Our container has arrived in Tauranga but needs to be inspected, so we won’t get our stuff till next week some time. So still waiting on my tools and bike and our bed. We picked up a used mattress from the second hand shop in town that we are using but it is not as comfortable as ours.
